The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mete Gol was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Mete Gol came free, but Melquiades Salvatore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francisco Rosado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Salvatore having to interfere. 82 minutes into the game, Remigio Librado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atlético Atlanta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atlético Capixaba the free kick.
