Rogelio Ferman was out of position in the 10 minute of play, and Anísio Alagoano capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Anísio Alagoano really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. After 13 played minutes Umberto Dionísio rounded Characate FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. A collision led to Castanheiro SC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Umberto Dionísio hit a great ball. Rogelio Ferman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedito Mineiro in the 21st minute of the match. 22 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Castanheiro SC's Benedito Mineiro fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Luisinho Seco's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Rogelio Ferman firmly grabbed it by the left post. After some careless play in the Characate FC defense, Luisinho Seco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rogelio Ferman. The Characate FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rogelio Ferman should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedito Mineiro in the 30th minute of play forced Characate FC's goalkeeper Rogelio Ferman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute Luisinho Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogelio Ferman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rogelio Ferman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilson Veloso, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Characate FC's goalkeeper Rogelio Ferman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luisinho Seco. Characate FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Anísio Alagoano scored 7-0 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rogelio Ferman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Characate FC defense, Nilson Veloso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rogelio Ferman. The Characate FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rogelio Ferman should have stopped the shot. Characate FC's Rogelio Ferman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilson Veloso in the 79th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Umberto Dionísio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rogelio Ferman was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. A collision led to Characate FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Pascual Calisto hit a great ball. Rogelio Ferman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Umberto Dionísio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
