Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nilson Esteves started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Characate FC booed when Brasilino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Porto didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th minute, Narciso de Carvalho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brasilino fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Charles Sena hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute Nilson Esteves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Price saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 24 played minutes Brasilino got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Eduardo Maranhense. Jean da Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaias Banegas in the 25th minute of play. Benjamin Price showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amílton Sena in the 26th minute of the match. In the 31st minute, Nilson Esteves made a precise shot to the right of Benjamin Price. Characate FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. If Nilson Esteves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benjamin Price showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilson Esteves, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 46th minute, Nilson Esteves ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benjamin Price was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Amílton Sena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brasilino's supporters rose to their feet, but Amílton Sena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benjamin Price breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nilson Esteves hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Benjamin Price showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Eduardo Maranhense, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Nilson Esteves took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benjamin Price. Benjamin Price dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Benjamin Price made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Bernardo Porto sent off a good shot on target. After 70 played minutes Characate FC got a freekick which was hit by Fidel Igon. In the 76th minute Loco Palermo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean da Silva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amílton Sena kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Bernardo Porto received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benjamin Price came out and tried to block the shot, but Bernardo Porto slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 84th minute. 87 minutes into the game, Brasilino's Bernardo Porto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benjamin Price made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Nilson Esteves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Price having to interfere. Benjamin Vasconcelos hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The Brasilino supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Brasilino would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
