Mauricio Fero hit a great ball. ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★'s Gavino Orlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnaldo Corderall in the 16th minute of play. Rene Rios made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isaac Vistruario in the 19th minute. Arnaldo Corderall took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gavino Orlan. Gavino Orlan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carolo Goi during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gavino Orlan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaldo Corderall in the 29th minute of the match. Lino Perrando helped the player get up and apologised. After 47 played minutes ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★ got a freekick which was hit by Lino Perrando. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Narciso Tano to make the kick off. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gavino Orlan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Edgardo Txilar fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick.
