The referee ignored MUSHIBA FC's protests and gave Pedro Luiz Abreu a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, MUSHIBA FC's Pedro Luiz Abreu got a free kick in the 13th minute. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 15th minute, when Amboy FC's Feliciano Rios after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Chiquinho do Nascimento in MUSHIBA FC's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. A sloppy throw-in by Higinio Lordi in the 17th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by MUSHIBA FC's Cacá Ramalho. After a rather tough play, Amboy FC's Aristides Jaunzuria got a free kick in the 20th minute. 22 minutes into the game, Régis Mineiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Severiano Santo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Filomeno Pio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Chiquinho do Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cacá Ramalho during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 30 played minutes MUSHIBA FC got a freekick which was hit by Cacá Ramalho. Aristides Jaunzuria kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Chiquinho do Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filomeno Pio in the 42nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gil Meira in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Severiano Santo saved Amboy FC from getting behind. In the 47th minute, Filomeno Pio made a precise shot to the right of Chiquinho do Nascimento. MUSHIBA FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1.

MUSHIBA FC's Chiquinho do Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florencio Bento in the 53rd minute of play. A collision led to MUSHIBA FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Régis Sampaio hit a great ball. After having played for 61 minutes, Florencio Bento managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Amboy FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Florencio Bento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 64 minutes, Higinio Lordi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Amboy FC and the MUSHIBA FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 64th match minute, Amboy FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Higinio Lordi to maneuver through the defense. MUSHIBA FC's Chiquinho do Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filomeno Pio in the 66th minute of play. After 67 played minutes MUSHIBA FC got a freekick which was hit by Cacá Ramalho. After some careless play in the MUSHIBA FC defense, Florencio Bento kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Chiquinho do Nascimento. The MUSHIBA FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Chiquinho do Nascimento should have stopped the shot. Filomeno Pio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Amboy FC booed when MUSHIBA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cacá Ramalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florencio Bento in the 81st minute of play forced MUSHIBA FC's goalkeeper Chiquinho do Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Amboy FC booed when MUSHIBA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gil Meira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amboy FC's Filomeno Pio got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in MUSHIBA FC's zone, Florencio Bento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chiquinho do Nascimento came out of the goal and Florencio Bento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amboy FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
