Boncho Zhilev started the match with the kick off. Dobrin Beremov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narciso Tano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Narciso Tano got free with Dobrin Beremov in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 15th minute Toni Nenchev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavino Orlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★'s Gerardo Sabin got a free kick in the 16th minute. Narciso Tano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Dobrin Beremov made a huge save. If Saverio Ladio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Narciso Tano struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Dobrin Beremov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★. In the 32nd minute, DARAS's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Hermengildo Bertol fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 35th minute Toni Nenchev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavino Orlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dobrin Beremov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narciso Tano in the 40th minute of play. If Hermengildo Bertol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Narciso Tano was the one to do the kick off. Boncho Zhilev received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gavino Orlan came out and tried to block the shot, but Boncho Zhilev slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 58th minute. Toni Nenchev charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Toni Nenchev the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Antim Karamanski during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Antim Karamanski hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Gavino Orlan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Toni Nenchev in the 69th minute. 72 minutes into the match, ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★'s goalkeeper Gavino Orlan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nano Mitrashkov. In the 86th minute Boncho Zhilev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavino Orlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Cresencio kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. DARAS's Kuzman Bondzhov was substituted for Kostadin Mazhdrakov. The supporters of DARAS booed when ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonathan Cresencio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gerardo Sabin lost his temper 93 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 94 played minutes ★ᴇꜱᴛᴜᴅɪᴀɴᴛᴇꜱ ᴅᴇ ʟᴀ ᴘʟᴀᴛᴀ★ got a freekick which was hit by Gerardo Sabin. The DARAS supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing DARAS would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
