The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Golden Dragón F.C getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Nalo Cambas hit a great ball. 8 minutes into the match, Golden Dragón F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Renatinho Urbano came free, but Florin Quelia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in ITAFUT 4EVER's zone, Dolfo Escajadillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciro Brasil came out of the goal and Dolfo Escajadillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Florin Quelia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guto de Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Guto de Castro put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Florin Quelia. In the 27th minute Inacio Andres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Brasil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th match minute, Golden Dragón F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luisito Bachiller to maneuver through the defense. Florin Quelia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guto de Castro in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 39th minute, ITAFUT 4EVER's Evair Palmeira dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Golden Dragón F.C's Florin Quelia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Golden Dragón F.C from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the ITAFUT 4EVER defense, Prudentio Asteguieta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ciro Brasil. The ITAFUT 4EVER fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ciro Brasil should have stopped the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Renatinho Urbano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Florin Quelia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Florin Quelia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evair Palmeira, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After a rather tough play, Golden Dragón F.C's Magdaleno Revenga got a free kick in the 59th minute. Xurxo Lardero hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Golden Dragón F.C's Florin Quelia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wiliam Paes in the 66th minute of play. 68 minutes into the game, ITAFUT 4EVER's Guto de Castro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Florin Quelia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. ITAFUT 4EVER's Zé Paulo Gerber was substituted for Guto de Castro. Florin Quelia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evair Palmeira in the 79th minute of play. After a rather tough play, ITAFUT 4EVER's Pedro Luiz Perez got a free kick in the 80th minute.
