In the 6th minute of the match Eleuterio Ferdinand shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but João Paulo Urbano showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Eleuterio Ferdinand kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. After 22 played minutes S.C. Reis United got a freekick which was hit by Elano Cunha. João Paulo Urbano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Gonzalez, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Eduardo Gaspar hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After 31 minutes, Rodriguinho Reis made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. VERΛ's Delmar Bartoleme tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 36th minute, Gualter Cardoso made a precise shot to the right of Delmar Bartoleme. VERΛ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. VERΛ's Delmar Bartoleme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodriguinho Reis in the 42nd minute of play.

Rodriguinho Reis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 56 minutes, Elano Cunha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the S.C. Reis United and the VERΛ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Elano Cunha hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. 60 minutes into the match, Rodriguinho Reis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Delmar Bartoleme. VERΛ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rodriguinho Reis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. In the 63rd minute Eduardo Gaspar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmar Bartoleme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th minute, Rosendo Bidun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Danilo Garikoitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute, Amadeu Negri ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Delmar Bartoleme was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Joel Reis's late challenge caught a VERΛ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joel Reis helped the player get up and apologised. 81 minutes into the match, Rodriguinho Reis notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of VERΛ's Delmar Bartoleme. Delmar Bartoleme was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 86th minute Eduardo Gaspar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmar Bartoleme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. VERΛ were furious when Rosendo Bidun was red carded, 90 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 92 minutes into the match, VERΛ's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Gaspar came free, but Delmar Bartoleme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eduardo Gaspar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delmar Bartoleme having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the VERΛ players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for S.C. Reis United.
