The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of ZORZAL01 booed when Galáctico Azul FC™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillermo Miliano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abelardo Vimaro charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abelardo Vimaro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 3rd match minute, ZORZAL01 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abelardo Vimaro to maneuver through the defense. In the 4th minute of the match Alfredo Xabel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Florentino Demario showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Enrique Belasko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Nardo in the 9th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Galáctico Azul FC™'s Guillermo Miliano seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Guillermo Miliano the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Galáctico Azul FC™ protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Guillermo Miliano had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Galáctico Azul FC™ fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 12th minute. Penalty! 15 minutes in the game, Leonel Unai dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Galáctico Azul FC™'s goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Nardo came free, but Enrique Belasko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute, Edgardo Nardo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Enrique Belasko. The goal made the score 1-0. The supporters of ZORZAL01 booed when Galáctico Azul FC™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Xabel didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Edgardo Nardo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Enrique Belasko, 2-0. Eulalio Vincent's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Florentino Demario read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Matias Seber kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arsenio Maldonado was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Joaquin Lizbeth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Belasko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Generoso Michael got free with Florentino Demario in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to ZORZAL01 getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Abelardo Vimaro hit a great ball. Florentino Demario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Generoso Michael, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Eulalio Vincent received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Florentino Demario came out and tried to block the shot, but Eulalio Vincent slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 60th minute. In the 64th minute, Arsenio Maldonado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Enrique Belasko was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Galáctico Azul FC™'s Jose Tiso was substituted for Maximo Cutberto. ZORZAL01's Florentino Demario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eulalio Vincent in the 70th minute of play. Erasmo Celino came free with the goalkeeper in the 72nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Florentino Demario could save by the left post. 77 minutes into the game, Casimiro Ellande cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Florentino Demario was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 80 minutes into the match, Joaquin Lizbeth had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Enrique Belasko. Galáctico Azul FC™'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joaquin Lizbeth was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Florentino Demario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose Tiso, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
