In the 13th match minute, VERΛ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eleuterio Ferdinand to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of VERΛ booed when BULFUT GALAXY CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guido Fix didn't get a good kick on the ball. Remigio Mergildo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Delmar Bartoleme came out and tried to block the shot, but Remigio Mergildo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 18th minute. VERΛ's Delmar Bartoleme proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save VERΛ from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luisito Caradaro in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnoldo Chale saved BULFUT GALAXY CF from getting behind. In the 30th minute Paulo Gonzalez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnoldo Chale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Remigio Mergildo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Delmar Bartoleme made a huge save. 33 minutes into the match, Lorenzo Louis notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of BULFUT GALAXY CF's Arnoldo Chale. Arnoldo Chale was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Federico Astudillo fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BULFUT GALAXY CF's protests and gave Federico Astudillo a yellow card for diving instead. After 40 played minutes BULFUT GALAXY CF got a freekick which was hit by Federico Astudillo. When the match clock showed 43 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Teobaldo Hegoi sped through BULFUT GALAXY CF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arnoldo Chale. BULFUT GALAXY CF's Arnoldo Chale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisito Caradaro in the 46th minute of play. In the 49th minute, Albino James made a precise shot to the right of Delmar Bartoleme. VERΛ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Guido Fix to make the kick off. Guido Fix kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Delmar Bartoleme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remigio Mergildo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. BULFUT GALAXY CF's Arnoldo Chale played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobaldo Hegoi in the 58th minute of play. When Teobaldo Hegoi fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VERΛ's protests and gave Teobaldo Hegoi a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guido Fix in the 63rd minute of play forced VERΛ's goalkeeper Delmar Bartoleme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guido Fix recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Delmar Bartoleme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guido Fix, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. In the 70th minute Remigio Mergildo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmar Bartoleme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lorenzo Louis's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 76thth minute, Arnoldo Chale skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Guido Fix in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Delmar Bartoleme saved VERΛ from getting behind. A collision led to BULFUT GALAXY CF getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Eleuterio Fanuco hit a great ball. Arnoldo Chale made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Luisito Caradaro sent off a good shot on target. Delmiro Batista hit a great ball. Delmar Bartoleme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remigio Mergildo in the 92nd minute of the match. After 94 played minutes BULFUT GALAXY CF got a freekick which was hit by Albino Muno. The audience was convinced that Luisito Caradaro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnoldo Chale was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. Lorenzo Louis scored 2-3 in the 99th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnoldo Chale, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. VERΛ walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
