The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Roman Holder kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Cipriano Munhoz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eulalio Francesco having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Stacey Banning in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Burni saved Berserkers FC Ψ from getting behind. River tu grato nombre's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by John Presley in the 9th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Cipriano Munhoz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eulalio Francesco. River tu grato nombre's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cipriano Munhoz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 18th minute, River tu grato nombre's Stacey Banning ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marcos Burni. Marcos Burni yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. In the 21st minute, John Presley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 23 minutes into the match, Berserkers FC Ψ's goalkeeper Marcos Burni had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stacey Banning. Marcos Burni made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Stacey Banning sent off a good shot on target. In the 34th minute Cipriano Munhoz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eulalio Francesco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eulalio Francesco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cipriano Munhoz went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Stacey Banning succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-2 in the 43rd playminute. If 董烨邦 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Stacey Banning was the one to do the kick off. After 55 minutes of play, Berserkers FC Ψ's Cipriano Munhoz made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eulalio Francesco was left in no man's land by his defense there! Berserkers FC Ψ's Nestor Ondino was substituted for Radowit Furlit. Berserkers FC Ψ's Juan Ignacio Circelli was substituted for Cipriano Munhoz. In the 61st minute Juan Ignacio Circelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eulalio Francesco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd match minute, River tu grato nombre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Garaona Aranguiz to maneuver through the defense. River tu grato nombre made a substitution. Eulalio Francesco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Ignacio Circelli in the 82nd minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Juan Ignacio Circelli notched a goal, 3-4, to the right of River tu grato nombre's Eulalio Francesco. Eulalio Francesco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marcos Burni stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bon Scott's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Eulalio Francesco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Ignacio Circelli in the 91st minute of play. When the match had been going on for 99 minutes, Berserkers FC Ψ's Juan Ignacio Circelli got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Eulalio Francesco. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see River tu grato nombre lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
