In the 8th minute Dagoberto Machado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caio da Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abutres 2003 FDP's Caio da Costa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Abutres 2003 FDP from getting a goal against them. Waldemar Teles could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Caio da Costa made a huge save. 24 minutes into the match, Abutres 2003 FDP's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo José de Moraes came free, but Caio da Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 25 minutes, Flavinho Britto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Abutres 2003 FDP and the Bitelon FC - SAF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Abutres 2003 FDP's Flavinho Britto got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 72nd minute of the match, Zé Carlos Lira tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Günalp Taştan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The Bitelon FC - SAF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Caio da Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldemar Teles in the 85th minute of play. Bitelon FC - SAF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hélio Ceresso in the 87th minute. The corner led Bitelon FC - SAF's Waldemar Teles to fire away a dangerous shot which Caio da Costa despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball.
