Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Waldemar Teles in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sydney Barros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gugu Travassos struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Günalp Taştan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Granadero10. Betão Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gugu Travassos in the 17th minute of play forced Bitelon FC - SAF's goalkeeper Günalp Taştan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Granadero10's goal looked a bit too open when Dagoberto Machado came free, but Sydney Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Günalp Taştan made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Betão Senna sent off a good shot on target. Sydney Barros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dimitris Papaggelatos in the 24th minute of the match. If Waldemar Teles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Bitelon FC - SAF's Waldemar Teles in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After the first half Bitelon FC - SAF were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Bitelon FC - SAF's Albertinho Lopes was substituted for Bert Greenan. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Betão Senna stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Günalp Taştan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gugu Travassos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Bitelon FC - SAF defense, Gugu Travassos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Günalp Taştan. The Bitelon FC - SAF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Günalp Taştan should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Bitelon FC - SAF booed when Granadero10 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdomiro Damião didn't get a good kick on the ball. Waldemar Teles could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Sydney Barros made a huge save. Waldemar Teles might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sydney Barros. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Waldemar Teles ran back to his position shaking his head. Sydney Barros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Waldemar Teles in the 62nd minute. The Bitelon FC - SAF fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when Bitelon FC - SAF's Dimitris Papaggelatos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Fernandinho Nogueira kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Bitelon FC - SAF's Günalp Taştan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Betão Senna in the 93rd minute of play.
