Caio da Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arthur Guedes in the 9th minute of play. In the 12th minute Vinícius Soeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kepa Arrizabalaga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kepa Arrizabalaga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinícius Soeiro in the 16th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Caio Aguiar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arthur Guedes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Caio da Costa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s Kepa Arrizabalaga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Carlos Lira in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Abutres 2003 FDP's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Paolo Maldini fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 22nd minute of the match, Arthur Guedes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Caio da Costa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s Arthur Guedes in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arthur Guedes in the 33rd minute of play forced Abutres 2003 FDP's goalkeeper Caio da Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after Abutres 2003 FDP's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Paolo Maldini took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Paolo Maldini got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Caio da Costa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Caio da Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arthur Guedes, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Caio da Costa came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s Arthur Guedes. But to his dismay, Arthur Guedes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s Kepa Arrizabalaga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Carlos Lira in the 39th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s Arthur Guedes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Caio da Costa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Abutres 2003 FDP's Caio da Costa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Abutres 2003 FDP from getting a goal against them. Kepa Arrizabalaga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caio Aguiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arthur Guedes to make the kick off. Arthur Guedes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Caio da Costa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. In the 59th minute, Arthur Guedes made a precise shot to the right of Caio da Costa. Abutres 2003 FDP's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Paolo Maldini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Caio da Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arthur Guedes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Caio da Costa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabriel Vidal got free with Kepa Arrizabalaga in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s Ging Root was substituted for Xande Chaves. In the 69th match minute, ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arthur Guedes to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute, Zé Carlos Lira reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kepa Arrizabalaga. The goal made the score 3-1. Flavinho Britto hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After 89 minutes of play, ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙'s Michel Klose made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Caio da Costa was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 93rd minute Michel Klose shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caio da Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 96th minute, Flavinho Britto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. ♙Fluminense Campéon 23♙ fully deserved thier win.
