Narciso Guimarães made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Ni Feng Nan sent off a good shot on target. Maurício Saldanha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Eduardo França in the 19th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Wilian Alcântara managed to get in a good position for a shot. October 04's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilian Alcântara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maurício Saldanha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vágner de Queiroz's late challenge caught a October 04's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vágner de Queiroz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 33rd minute, Vágner de Queiroz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute, Warren FC - DMZ's Ni Feng Nan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Narciso Guimarães. Narciso Guimarães yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ni Feng Nan got free with Narciso Guimarães in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. October 04's Narciso Guimarães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vágner de Queiroz in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ni Feng Nan to strike the kick off in the second half. Narciso Guimarães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vágner de Queiroz in the 51st minute of play. The supporters of October 04 booed when Warren FC - DMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kiko Vides didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ni Feng Nan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Narciso Guimarães read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. 61 minutes into the game, Warren FC - DMZ's Ni Feng Nan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Narciso Guimarães made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Warren FC - DMZ's Frederico Vianna was substituted for Ni Feng Nan. The crowd rose to their feet as October 04's Horácio Aguiar slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Maurício Saldanha. That made the score 3-1 after 74 minutes of play. Wilian Alcântara's late challenge caught a Warren FC - DMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Warren FC - DMZ's Zé Roberto Pires was substituted for Vágner de Queiroz. Wilian Alcântara kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Warren FC - DMZ's Frederico Vianna managed to work through October 04's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Frederico Vianna dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. 89 minutes into the match, Frederico Vianna notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of October 04's Narciso Guimarães. Narciso Guimarães was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 93 minutes into the match, Horácio Aguiar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maurício Saldanha. Warren FC - DMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Horácio Aguiar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. When Mário Pena fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored October 04's protests and gave Mário Pena a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to October 04 getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Mário Pena hit a great ball. Warren FC - DMZ walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
