Franklin Araújo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ramón Nogueira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Delfim Bastos made a huge save. Nando Veiga kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. DENVER™'s Ramón Vinhas got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 47 played minutes DENVER™ got a freekick which was hit by Conrado Paraibano. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Franklin Araújo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, DENVER™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrianinho Negri to maneuver through the defense. Delfim Bastos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franklin Araújo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the match, Los Colonos F.C - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Márcio Guedes came free, but Wesley Quadros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Delfim Bastos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franklin Araújo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
