Academia Santista CIMZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ the free kick. After a rather tough play, Academia Santista CIMZ's Aloísio Alvarenga got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 3rd minute, McDonald Hamburger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabiano Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Carlos Taffarel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabiano Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Taffarel having to interfere. In the 12th minute, McDonald Hamburger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 13th minute, Fabiano Montenegro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlos Taffarel was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Carlos Taffarel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from McDonald Hamburger went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. McDonald Hamburger took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carlos Taffarel. Carlos Taffarel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Gil Magalhães made in the 27th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Inácio Peres immediately put the ball in play. Academia Santista CIMZ's Carlos Taffarel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by McDonald Hamburger in the 29th minute of play. McDonald Hamburger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlos Taffarel came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's McDonald Hamburger. But to his dismay, McDonald Hamburger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, McDonald Hamburger managed to get in a good position for a shot. ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's supporters rose to their feet, but McDonald Hamburger was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Taffarel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Academia Santista CIMZ getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Kauan Leme hit a great ball. After the first half ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Severino Koehler was the one to do the kick off. A throw-in in the 53rd minute of the game was made by Feng Chong Yong with McDonald Hamburger as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The throw-in from Gil Magalhães in the 55th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's Doriva Vaz. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 0-5 when McDonald Hamburger sped through Academia Santista CIMZ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Carlos Taffarel. McDonald Hamburger blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlos Taffarel having to make a save. Carlos Taffarel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but McDonald Hamburger showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 63 minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 67th minute by McDonald Hamburger got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 69 minutes into the game, Feng Chong Yong threw the ball into play from the sideline. Academia Santista CIMZ's Kauan Leme quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. A collision led to Academia Santista CIMZ getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Aloísio Alvarenga hit a great ball. In the 74th minute, McDonald Hamburger made a precise shot to the right of Carlos Taffarel. Academia Santista CIMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. 78 minutes into the game, ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's McDonald Hamburger nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlos Taffarel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. In the 82nd play minute McDonald Hamburger came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Carlos Taffarel. 0-9. McDonald Hamburger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when McDonald Hamburger got free with Carlos Taffarel in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Carlos Taffarel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of McDonald Hamburger's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. After 89 played minutes Academia Santista CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Severino Koehler. The audience thought a goal was coming when McDonald Hamburger got free with Carlos Taffarel in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
