Delfim Bastos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Válbson Paiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Delfim Bastos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mattias Downing in the 16th minute of the match. Válbson Paiva blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Delfim Bastos having to make a save. Delfim Bastos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Válbson Paiva in the 18th minute. Delfim Bastos came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Cadu Team's Válbson Paiva. But to his dismay, Válbson Paiva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. DENVER™'s Delfim Bastos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save DENVER™ from getting a goal against them. In the 27th minute, Cadu Team's Mattias Downing ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Delfim Bastos. Delfim Bastos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. DENVER™'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when Válbson Paiva scored to the left of an out of position Delfim Bastos, making the score, 4-0. 34 minutes into the match, Válbson Paiva notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of DENVER™'s Delfim Bastos. Delfim Bastos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Válbson Paiva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Delfim Bastos was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Válbson Paiva's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 43rdth minute, Delfim Bastos skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Gelu Lepuș showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arlindo Quirino, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Washington Lira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Cadu Team booed when DENVER™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arlindo Quirino didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute, Válbson Paiva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cadu Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. In the 67th minute, Zézinho Paranaense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Cleithon Minuhin from long distance, 68 minutes into the match, got Gelu Lepuș's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Cadu Team's Gelu Lepuș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arlindo Quirino in the 73rd minute of play. Delfim Bastos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Válbson Paiva in the 74th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Mattias Downing managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cadu Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Mattias Downing was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Delfim Bastos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Cadu Team's Válbson Paiva in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye DENVER™'s goalie prevented a goal. 86 minutes into the match, DENVER™'s goal looked a bit too open when Válbson Paiva came free, but Delfim Bastos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
