When Cafu de Senna fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BMB IMOVEIS SC's protests and gave Cafu de Senna a yellow card for diving instead. Sílvio Leite could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Sérgio de Azevedo made a huge save. Edvaldo Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cafu de Senna, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute, Londrina's Carlos Albuquerque ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sérgio de Azevedo. Sérgio de Azevedo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Edvaldo Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donato Marques in the 17th minute of the match. The supporters of BMB IMOVEIS SC booed when Londrina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronaldão de Medeiros didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was beautiful to see BMB IMOVEIS SC's Luís Fernando Tavares in action when he in the 21st minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! 23 minutes into the match, BMB IMOVEIS SC's goalkeeper Sérgio de Azevedo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sílvio Leite. In the 28th minute of the match Luís Guilherme Ceresso shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sérgio de Azevedo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Sérgio de Azevedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Albuquerque in the 31st minute of the match. In the 31st minute Carlos Albuquerque shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio de Azevedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Albuquerque charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlos Albuquerque the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 37th match minute, Londrina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dieguinho Fernandez to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute Donato Marques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edvaldo Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute, Silas Arantes made a precise shot to the right of Edvaldo Medeiros. Londrina's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 43rd minute, Silas Arantes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BMB IMOVEIS SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Edvaldo Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renan Madureira in the 46th minute of the match. After the first half BMB IMOVEIS SC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sílvio Leite was the one to do the kick off. BMB IMOVEIS SC's Sérgio de Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Paiva in the 57th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Londrina's goal looked a bit too open when Donato Marques came free, but Edvaldo Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Renan Madureira got free with Edvaldo Medeiros in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 60th minute, Douglas Catarinense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, BMB IMOVEIS SC's Pedro Augusto Ferraz got a free kick in the 66th minute. Sílvio Leite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Sérgio de Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81stth minute of the game Donato Marques who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Londrina's Edvaldo Medeiros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 81 minutes of play, BMB IMOVEIS SC's Silas Arantes made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edvaldo Medeiros was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Donato Marques kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Edvaldo Medeiros. That made the score 1-4 in the 88 minute of play. In the 91st minute of the match, Donato Marques tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Edvaldo Medeiros saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the match was over BMB IMOVEIS SC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Londrina throughout the match.
