The Agua Santa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tomé Mota should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lambis Chotard in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomé Mota saved Agua Santa from getting behind. Tomé Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lambis Chotard in the 24th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Agua Santa's goal looked a bit too open when José Grosso came free, but Tomé Mota reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. William Luz made in the 30th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Tiago Cosme however managed to control. After 32 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Agua Santa! Chicão Guerra's late challenge caught a AnÐaRaHy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chicão Guerra helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Agua Santa's Chicão Guerra got a free kick in the 37th minute. Tomé Mota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lambis Chotard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Agua Santa made a substitution. Doni Recife replaced Dinei Cearense. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lambis Chotard to make the kick off. José Grosso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomé Mota having to interfere. Tiago Cosme hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Leonard Golota kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Lambis Chotard took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tomé Mota. After taking down the ball on AnÐaRaHy's corner Zé Pedro Porto fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tomé Mota quite easily take care of the ball. Tomé Mota showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lambis Chotard in the 78th minute of the match. Lambis Chotard struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Tomé Mota didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AnÐaRaHy.
