With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cesar Romildo in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cazimir Angelescu saved Hayalim Kedoshim from getting behind. Gogo Elequemedo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 20th minute. Defensores de Mar de Ajó's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. A collision led to Defensores de Mar de Ajó getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Inautzi Quesada hit a great ball. Defensores de Mar de Ajó's Kleopas Plouffe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurențiu Pora in the 22nd minute of play. Kleopas Plouffe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laurențiu Pora in the 24th minute of play. Kleopas Plouffe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Laurențiu Pora went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Cesar Romildo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cazimir Angelescu firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 37th minute of the match, Sebastião Paes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cazimir Angelescu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Defensores de Mar de Ajó getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Sebastião Paes hit a great ball. Kleopas Plouffe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laurențiu Pora in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cesar Romildo was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Defensores de Mar de Ajó's Inautzi Quesada got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 60th minute, Laurențiu Pora reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kleopas Plouffe. The goal made the score 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimiro Lauro in the 75th minute of play forced Defensores de Mar de Ajó's goalkeeper Kleopas Plouffe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cazimir Angelescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Aznar, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimiro Lauro in the 88th minute of play forced Defensores de Mar de Ajó's goalkeeper Kleopas Plouffe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Hayalim Kedoshim walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
