Rigoberto Bihar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Rigoberto Bihar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Roland, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After 20 minutes of play, Vélez Juniors's Nicolas Roland made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. With an all-out effort, River Plate ® 9-12's Elpidio Vitin threw himself towards the right post 43 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Muhammet Ökten, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.

64 minutes had been played when some careless play by River Plate ® 9-12's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Guido Luzaide was slow to take the kick. During this time Vélez Juniors's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Guido Luzaide almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but River Plate ® 9-12's Rigoberto Bihar did a great save. In the 65th minute, Placido Silvanito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. River Plate ® 9-12's Carolo Senio was substituted for Muhammet Ökten. In the 87th minute, Placido Silvanito ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elpidio Vitin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Through an outstanding action, after 91 minutes, Rigoberto Bihar successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Cristian Naike took a quick shot and it went in 1-5 without a chance for Rigoberto Bihar to make any attempt to save it.
