In the 6th minute, Eliseo Sasoin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Silverio Lluterio took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Tony Guimarães to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silverio Lluterio in the 9th minute of play forced C. A. Atlanta's goalkeeper Tony Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Candela FC's goalkeeper Ramiro Gabrio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. C. A. Atlanta's Tony Guimarães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silverio Lluterio in the 13th minute of play. Tony Guimarães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silverio Lluterio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tony Guimarães made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Silverio Lluterio sent off a good shot on target. 27 minutes into the match, C. A. Atlanta's goalkeeper Tony Guimarães had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silverio Lluterio. Ramiro Gabrio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Everardo Rio in the 28th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Silverio Lluterio notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of C. A. Atlanta's Tony Guimarães. Tony Guimarães was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 36th minute, Silverio Lluterio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Candela FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. C. A. Atlanta's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Teodoro Primo in the 42nd minute. In the 43rd minute of the match C. A. Atlanta got a corner. La Candela FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Teodoro Primo ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Federico Gil heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 47th match minute, C. A. Atlanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Eguzki to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Silverio Lluterio to make the kick off. When Sixto Manilan fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C. A. Atlanta's protests and gave Sixto Manilan a yellow card for diving instead. La Candela FC made a substitution. Damian Servando replaced Augusto Distiratsu. In the 54thth minute of the game Silverio Lluterio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C. A. Atlanta's Tony Guimarães was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by C. A. Atlanta's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Valtteri Snellman was slow to take the kick. During this time La Candela FC's players had a chance to rest. The supporters of La Candela FC booed when C. A. Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Everardo Rio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 59 minutes of play, La Candela FC's Silverio Lluterio made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tony Guimarães was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 62nd minute Silverio Lluterio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Guimarães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tony Guimarães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silverio Lluterio in the 65th minute of the match. In the 66th minute Valtteri Snellman suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Teodoro Primo charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Federico Gil helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of La Candela FC booed when C. A. Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Federico Gil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tony Guimarães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silverio Lluterio in the 96th minute of the match. La Candela FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
