The referee ignored Corralito AFC's protests and gave Dan Eckegren a yellow card for diving instead. In the 53rd minute, Soroca F.C.'s Adrián Espadas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ramon Lopez. Ramon Lopez yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Adrián Espadas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ramon Lopez came out and tried to block the shot, but Adrián Espadas slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 58th minute. Soroca F.C. made a substitution. Răzvan Necula replaced Adrián Espadas. In the 64thth minute of the game Răzvan Necula who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Corralito AFC's Ramon Lopez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 66 minutes, Răzvan Necula managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Soroca F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Răzvan Necula was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Răzvan Necula's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ramon Lopez was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. If Bebeto Chaves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
