Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Joe Tate got the match started through his kick off. Miguel Savion made in the 3rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Mauro Rameriz immediately put the ball in play. Errecaborda AFC's Edmond Verdun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anibal Lluques in the 8th minute of play. In the 14th minute Anibal Lluques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmond Verdun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Txatxu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joe Tate's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute, Emílio Terra made a precise shot to the right of Paulo Txatxu. Q. T. I.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 23rd minute Q. T. I. were awarded a corner. Eleuterio Nuno went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Q. T. I.'s corner Eleuterio Nuno fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Edmond Verdun quite easily take care of the ball. Anibal Lluques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Edmond Verdun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulo Txatxu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emílio Terra in the 26th minute of the match. Anibal Lluques could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Edmond Verdun made a huge save. Errecaborda AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Anibal Lluques 28 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Errecaborda AFC's Edmond Verdun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Errecaborda AFC from getting a goal against them. 37 minutes into the match, Q. T. I.'s goal looked a bit too open when Pastor Ado came free, but Paulo Txatxu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulo Txatxu came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Errecaborda AFC's Pastor Ado. But to his dismay, Pastor Ado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. A sloppy throw-in by Clemente Silviano in the 41st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Q. T. I.'s Leopoldo Vermudo. Q. T. I.'s Paulo Txatxu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emílio Terra in the 43rd minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anibal Lluques to make the kick off. 60 minutes into the match, Joe Tate had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paulo Txatxu. Q. T. I.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joe Tate was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Q. T. I.'s Faustino Txerran was substituted for Leopoldo Vermudo. Errecaborda AFC's Edmond Verdun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anibal Lluques in the 66th minute of play. After some careless play in the Errecaborda AFC defense, Anibal Lluques kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edmond Verdun. The Errecaborda AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edmond Verdun should have stopped the shot. In the 72nd minute Joe Tate shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Txatxu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Q. T. I.'s goal looked a bit too open when Joe Tate came free, but Paulo Txatxu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner ended in Eleuterio Nuno almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Errecaborda AFC's Edmond Verdun did a great save. Paulo Txatxu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emílio Terra in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 86thth minute of the game Anibal Lluques who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Errecaborda AFC's Edmond Verdun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 90 minutes, Joe Tate mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Errecaborda AFC and the Q. T. I. players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Q. T. I. booed when Errecaborda AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joe Tate didn't get a good kick on the ball. Casimiro Guillelmus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Errecaborda AFC played a much better game than Q. T. I. and deserved their victory. The Q. T. I. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
