Rigoberto Ignazio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The supporters of Q. T. I. booed when ATHLETICO PRaiano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Betão Marquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. ATHLETICO PRaiano's Rodriguinho Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Raymundo in the 14th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Casimiro Guillelmus took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Rodriguinho Sousa to make any attempt to save it. In the 24th minute, Deilmison van Basten left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ATHLETICO PRaiano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Rigoberto Ignazio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Deilmison van Basten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. I. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rigoberto Ignazio should have stopped the shot. Rodriguinho Sousa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Casimiro Guillelmus's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. In the 43rd minute, Deilmison van Basten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. ATHLETICO PRaiano's Rodriguinho Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Raymundo in the 44th minute of play. The Q. T. I. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ATHLETICO PRaiano were winning 1-5.

Rodriguinho Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximino Lorenz, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Rigoberto Ignazio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Deilmison van Basten's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Horacio Dolfo kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Rodriguinho Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Casimiro Guillelmus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 95 minutes into the match, ATHLETICO PRaiano's goal looked a bit too open when Maximino Lorenz came free, but Rodriguinho Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. ATHLETICO PRaiano walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
