Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Viggo Lidström started the match with the kick off. Viggo Lidström's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 3rdth minute, Armando Teixeira skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a little luck, Tribos 4EVER's Armando Teixeira got control of the ball when Lauro Carneiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Armando Teixeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lauro Carneiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 11th minute Lauro Carneiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Toti Iglesias took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcelo Lomba. Marcelo Lomba dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Lauro Carneiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Esporte Club Bahia's supporters rose to their feet, but Lauro Carneiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armando Teixeira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tribos 4EVER's Armando Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viggo Lidström in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th match minute, Tribos 4EVER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristiano Faria to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mandi Oca in the 31st minute of play forced Esporte Club Bahia's goalkeeper Marcelo Lomba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clóvis Passos made in the 33rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Luiz Gustavo Paes. In the 35th minute, Toti Iglesias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Armando Teixeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Gustavo Paes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute, Alfredinho Botelho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tribos 4EVER fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Toti Iglesias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Marcelo Lomba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Viggo Lidström got free with Armando Teixeira in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Armando Teixeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lauro Carneiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mandi Oca stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Tribos 4EVER's Toti Iglesias slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marcelo Lomba. That made the score 2-3 after 51 minutes of play. Armando Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Gustavo Paes in the 54th minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Mandi Oca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Esporte Club Bahia's zone, Mandi Oca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelo Lomba came out of the goal and Mandi Oca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 64 minutes into the game, Esporte Club Bahia's Lauro Carneiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Armando Teixeira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. Edinho Alcântara charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edinho Alcântara the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 69th minute, Toti Iglesias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcelo Lomba was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-4. After some careless play in the Esporte Club Bahia defense, Toti Iglesias kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcelo Lomba. The Esporte Club Bahia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcelo Lomba should have stopped the shot. In the 80th minute Viggo Lidström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelo Lomba didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Toti Iglesias went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-6 was the resulting score. 86 minutes into the match, Toti Iglesias notched a goal, 3-7, to the right of Esporte Club Bahia's Marcelo Lomba. Marcelo Lomba was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Edinho Alcântara was shown his second yellow card after 89 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 90 played minutes Tribos 4EVER got a freekick which was hit by Edinho Alcântara. Jean Sampaio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Armando Teixeira. Tribos 4EVER's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Esporte Club Bahia manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Tribos 4EVER to win.
