The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedrinho Siqueira during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 22 played minutes MarquinhosEC got a freekick which was hit by Pedrinho Siqueira. Zézinho Simões made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leandro Fonseca in the 23rd minute. Juvenal Talló showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inácio Freitas, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leandro Fonseca in the 30th minute of play forced MarquinhosEC's goalkeeper Zézinho Simões to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the game, Bene Animatus's Leandro Fonseca nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zézinho Simões made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. When MarquinhosEC's Inácio Freitas in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bene Animatus's goalie prevented a goal. Vágner Porto hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Inácio Freitas to make the kick off. Bene Animatus's Jardel Velloso got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 58th minute, Jardel Velloso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bene Animatus fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. After 60 played minutes MarquinhosEC got a freekick which was hit by Inácio Freitas. MarquinhosEC's Horácio Vides was substituted for Mark Kovalev. After 64 minutes MarquinhosEC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sílvio Luís Prata who took care of the corner kick. Bene Animatus's Juvenal Talló played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedrinho Siqueira in the 66th minute of play. The Bene Animatus fans' excitement grew in the 86th match minute when Bene Animatus's Jardel Velloso looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Zézinho Simões showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jardel Velloso in the 89th minute of the match. Juvenal Talló made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vágner Porto in the 91st minute. In the 95th minute Florin Susara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juvenal Talló saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The MarquinhosEC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Bene Animatus from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
