Bart Claveau started the match with the kick off. If André Sörman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sílvio Laureano hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 7th minute, Paulão Jacinto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. André Sörman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 10 minutes into the game, Paulão Jacinto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Frederico Madureira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. André Sörman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Frederico Madureira having to make a save. Hélio Donatello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Frederico Madureira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André Sörman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19thth minute of the game Hélio Donatello who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mochila FC's Frederico Madureira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hélio Donatello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frederico Madureira having to interfere. If Anfilogino Genovese had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 38 minutes into the match, Mochila FC's goal looked a bit too open when André Sörman came free, but Frederico Madureira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frederico Madureira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hélio Donatello in the 43rd minute of play. Frederico Madureira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Sörman in the 44th minute of the match. Frederico Madureira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulão Jacinto, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Frederico Madureira came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by 20 de Março FC's Paulão Jacinto. But to his dismay, Paulão Jacinto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Mochila FC's Moisés Hoffmann was substituted for Eris Defaye. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hélio Donatello was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Sílvio Laureano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Renan Schmidt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bart Claveau, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. André Sörman struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Frederico Madureira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for 20 de Março FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bart Claveau in the 78th minute of play forced 20 de Março FC's goalkeeper Renan Schmidt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Renan Schmidt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bart Claveau, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bart Claveau in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Renan Schmidt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bart Claveau took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Renan Schmidt. Renan Schmidt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. In the 89th minute of the match 20 de Março FC got a corner. Mochila FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Olaf Pietrasz ran over to the corner to take the kick. The 20 de Março FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing 20 de Março FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
