After a defensive mix-up in A.D Leônico's zone, Doni Barbosa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Luiz de Barros came out of the goal and Doni Barbosa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 14 minutes into the match, A.D Leônico's goal looked a bit too open when Richard Neto came free, but André Luiz de Barros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A.D Leônico's André Luiz de Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Neto in the 14th minute of play. In the 17th minute Gino do Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Luiz de Barros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniël De Goeij was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Osmar dos Santos in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniël De Goeij saved Limoeiro-PE FC from getting behind. André Luiz de Barros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doni Barbosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Daniël De Goeij made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tony Mendes in the 28th minute. André Luiz de Barros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Neto in the 29th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Frederico Donato managed to get in a good position for a shot. A.D Leônico's supporters rose to their feet, but Frederico Donato was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniël De Goeij breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Limoeiro-PE FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Gino do Valle hit a great ball. 40 minutes into the match, Limoeiro-PE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Frederico Donato came free, but Daniël De Goeij reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Richard Neto to make the kick off. Daniël De Goeij made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tony Mendes in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doni Barbosa in the 60th minute of play forced A.D Leônico's goalkeeper André Luiz de Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniël De Goeij showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andriy Shevchenko, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After 65 minutes of play, A.D Leônico's Vatan Kambay made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Daniël De Goeij was left in no man's land by his defense there! Limoeiro-PE FC's Robert Lozovan was substituted for Richard Neto. In the 70th match minute, Limoeiro-PE FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 庄翀竞 to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute, Doni Barbosa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of André Luiz de Barros. The goal made the score 2-1. Edgar Cabral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. André Luiz de Barros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A.D Leônico's André Luiz de Barros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save A.D Leônico from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Lozovan in the 78th minute of play forced A.D Leônico's goalkeeper André Luiz de Barros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raphael Macedo scored 2-2 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of André Luiz de Barros, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A.D Leônico made a substitution. Antoni Piatek replaced Cássio Romero. In the 90th minute of the match, Doni Barbosa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but André Luiz de Barros saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Edgar Cabral hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The Limoeiro-PE FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented A.D Leônico from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
