In the 3rd minute, Ubarna Harroyo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bogdan Gurgui was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The supporters of The Owls booed when F.C.BARLAD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nichifor Codruț didn't get a good kick on the ball. 6 minutes into the match, Gino Galante had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bogdan Gurgui. F.C.BARLAD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gino Galante was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 14 minutes into the game, The Owls's Recep Talha Kutyan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bogdan Gurgui made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nichifor Codruț in the 17th minute of play forced The Owls's goalkeeper Jan-Åke Emander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan-Åke Emander came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by F.C.BARLAD's Daniel Bacalbașa. But to his dismay, Daniel Bacalbașa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. 23 minutes into the game, Gino Galante cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Bogdan Gurgui was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gino Galante took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bogdan Gurgui. Bogdan Gurgui dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. 29 minutes into the game, Recep Talha Kutyan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Bogdan Gurgui was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gino Galante scored 1-7 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bogdan Gurgui, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 35 minutes, Ubarna Harroyo made it 1-8 with a short kick to the right side. F.C.BARLAD's Bogdan Gurgui tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 39th minute Recep Talha Kutyan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bogdan Gurgui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, The Owls's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Bacalbașa came free, but Jan-Åke Emander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan-Åke Emander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Bacalbașa in the 42nd minute of play. In the 43rd minute Ubarna Harroyo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bogdan Gurgui saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bogdan Gurgui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Recep Talha Kutyan in the 45th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-8.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gino Galante to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gino Galante got free with Bogdan Gurgui in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ubarna Harroyo in the 53rd minute of play forced F.C.BARLAD's goalkeeper Bogdan Gurgui to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54thth minute of the game Gino Galante who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but F.C.BARLAD's Bogdan Gurgui was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as The Owls's Ubarna Harroyo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bogdan Gurgui. That made the score 1-9 after 57 minutes of play. After some careless play in the F.C.BARLAD defense, Recep Talha Kutyan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bogdan Gurgui. The F.C.BARLAD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bogdan Gurgui should have stopped the shot. In the 63rd minute, Recep Talha Kutyan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The Owls fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-11. 67 minutes into the match, F.C.BARLAD's goal looked a bit too open when Recep Talha Kutyan came free, but Bogdan Gurgui reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. F.C.BARLAD's Bogdan Gurgui proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save F.C.BARLAD from getting a goal against them. In the 69th minute, Ubarna Harroyo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bogdan Gurgui was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-12. In the 72nd minute, The Owls's Recep Talha Kutyan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-13. Recep Talha Kutyan struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Bogdan Gurgui didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Owls. After 82 minutes, Dănuț Lupu made it 1-15 with a short kick to the right side. F.C.BARLAD's Bogdan Gurgui tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 87 minutes of play, The Owls's Dănuț Lupu made it 1-16 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bogdan Gurgui was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gino Galante struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Bogdan Gurgui didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Owls. Bogdan Gurgui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ubarna Harroyo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th match minute, The Owls was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dănuț Lupu to maneuver through the defense.
