After some careless play in the Implant de Ego ™ defense, Liviu Hănescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Toader Melentie. The Implant de Ego ™ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Toader Melentie should have stopped the shot. If Emilian Comăneci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emilio Miconi didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Implant de Ego ™'s Iacob Florea shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Mădălin Antohi's late challenge caught a BANAT VIOLA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mădălin Antohi helped the player get up and apologised. Mădălin Antohi kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Emilian Comăneci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, BANAT VIOLA's Eugen Drăucean got a free kick in the 46th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Liviu Hănescu was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Implant de Ego ™'s Mădălin Antohi got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Eugen Drăucean fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toader Melentie having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Liviu Hănescu in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Toader Melentie saved Implant de Ego ™ from getting behind. In the 62nd minute Mircea Şumălan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emilio Miconi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute, Eugen Drăucean got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. BANAT VIOLA's Mihai Tatulici was substituted for Remus Vasiliu. After 67 played minutes Implant de Ego ™ got a freekick which was hit by Mircea Şumălan. If Mircea Şumălan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Implant de Ego ™ booed when BANAT VIOLA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nae Bleoancă didn't get a good kick on the ball.
