Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when William Rigg got the match started through his kick off. Constantin Bot made in the 3rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Stefan Dobay. 5 minutes into the match, Carpathians's goal looked a bit too open when William Rigg came free, but Matei Răducu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Matei Răducu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of William Rigg's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Matei Răducu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from William Rigg in the 9th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that William Rigg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Matei Răducu was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. The The Valar fans' excitement grew in the 13th match minute when The Valar's William Rigg looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 21st match minute, Carpathians was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remus Piacente to maneuver through the defense. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Carpathians's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Codruț Uncheşu was slow to take the kick. During this time The Valar's players had a chance to rest. Marian Otopeanu made a great header on The Valar's corner, it was just that Carpathians's Matei Răducu managed to reach the ball for a save. Emmanuel Canturri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefan Dobay in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute Carpathians were awarded a corner. Stefan Dobay went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Stefan Dobay almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but The Valar's Emmanuel Canturri did a great save. Pär Öman had several of the The Valar's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 34 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Emmanuel Canturri as he didn't even see the shot coming. Pär Öman was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 39 minutes into the match. Carpathians:s Matei Răducu showed great skill when he stopped Aulë Vala:s penalty. Aulë Vala did an outstanding performance 41 minutes into the match, when he by himself got past the opposing team's defense and with a quick scored 1-2 to the right of an irritated Matei Răducu in the goal. Matei Răducu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from William Rigg went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Carpathians defense, William Rigg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matei Răducu. The Carpathians fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matei Răducu should have stopped the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ercan Sabahaddin was the one to do the kick off. 71 minutes into the match, Carpathians's goal looked a bit too open when William Rigg came free, but Matei Răducu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute, Ercan Sabahaddin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carpathians fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-5. Manwë Vala hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Carpathians made a substitution. Mădălin Lipan replaced Leontin Ţurcaş. After a rather tough play, The Valar's Manwë Vala got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 88th minute of the match The Valar got a corner. Carpathians's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Codruț Uncheşu ran over to the corner to take the kick. Remus Piacente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Emmanuel Canturri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. William Rigg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ercan Sabahaddin in the 96th minute of play forced The Valar's goalkeeper Emmanuel Canturri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Carpathians manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing The Valar to win.
