Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Carpathians's Stefan Dobay started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that William Rigg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Matei Răducu was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. In the 3rdth minute of the game William Rigg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carpathians's Matei Răducu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Carpathians's Matei Răducu got control of the ball when William Rigg tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 6th minute of the match, William Rigg got a very nice opportunity to score, but Matei Răducu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leontin Ţurcaş in the 9th minute of play forced The Valar's goalkeeper Emmanuel Canturri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carpathians were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after The Valar's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alin Nichitelea took the corner. With a little luck, Carpathians's Matei Răducu got control of the ball when William Rigg tried to sneak it across the goal line. William Rigg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when William Rigg got free with Matei Răducu in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. William Rigg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when William Rigg got free with Matei Răducu in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers William Rigg in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matei Răducu saved Carpathians from getting behind. Matei Răducu was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and William Rigg capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. William Rigg really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Stefan Dobay took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emmanuel Canturri. Emmanuel Canturri dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when William Rigg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Matei Răducu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from William Rigg in the 58th minute of the match. 63 minutes into the game, Stefan Dobay recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Emmanuel Canturri. Stefan Dobay showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Remus Piacente kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 69thth minute. Though ot was a great shot The Valar's keeper Emmanuel Canturri was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Elias Mambru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matei Răducu having to interfere. Carpathians's Ercan Sabahaddin was substituted for Remus Piacente. After some careless play in the Carpathians defense, Alfred Hajto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matei Răducu. The Carpathians fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matei Răducu should have stopped the shot. The Valar's Emmanuel Canturri proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save The Valar from getting a goal against them. Emmanuel Canturri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ercan Sabahaddin in the 85th minute of play. Carpathians made a substitution. Mădălin Lipan replaced Martin Zafiu. Cazimir Feteanu kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
