In the 6th minute Dorin Banu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Liviu Văcăroiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, Tiberiu Caramarin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Liviu Văcăroiu. -BZF- The Elder Gods's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tiberiu Caramarin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Tiberiu Caramarin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Liviu Văcăroiu having to interfere. After a rather tough play, -BZF- The Elder Gods's Codrin Agudaru got a free kick in the 12th minute. If Tiberiu Caramarin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 17 minutes into the match, -BZF- The Elder Gods's goal looked a bit too open when Tiberiu Caramarin came free, but Liviu Văcăroiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute Tiberiu Caramarin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Liviu Văcăroiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, MIT Craiova's Tiberiu Caramarin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Liviu Văcăroiu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Petrică Dragu fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored -BZF- The Elder Gods's protests and gave Petrică Dragu a yellow card for diving instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Costel Năstase during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 27 played minutes -BZF- The Elder Gods got a freekick which was hit by Costel Năstase. 28 minutes into the match, -BZF- The Elder Gods's goalkeeper Liviu Văcăroiu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tiberiu Caramarin. Liviu Văcăroiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiberiu Caramarin in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute Costel Năstase shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calistrat Madgearu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Liviu Văcăroiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiberiu Caramarin, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After having played for 40 minutes, Radu Sărăroiu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MIT Craiova's supporters crossed their fingers, but Radu Sărăroiu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 41st minute, Dorin Banu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Tiberiu Caramarin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The wind increased when Doru Crăiniceanu made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorin Banu in the 60th minute of play forced -BZF- The Elder Gods's goalkeeper Liviu Văcăroiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dorin Banu scored 4-0 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Liviu Văcăroiu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. MIT Craiova's Calistrat Madgearu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save MIT Craiova from getting a goal against them. Liviu Văcăroiu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Tiberiu Caramarin might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Liviu Văcăroiu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tiberiu Caramarin ran back to his position shaking his head. Liviu Văcăroiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiberiu Caramarin in the 91st minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Tiberiu Caramarin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Liviu Văcăroiu. -BZF- The Elder Gods's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tiberiu Caramarin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. In the 96th minute, Tiberiu Caramarin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MIT Craiova fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. MIT Craiova fully deserved thier win.
