Gheorghe Bociort started the match with the kick off. After having played for 2 minutes, Luca Pancu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luca Pancu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alexandria Team08's Panait Frânculescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Pancu in the 6th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Faustão Abraão got free with Iacob Povară in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Panait Frânculescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luca Pancu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Faustão Abraão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Iacob Povară made a huge save. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 25th minute, when Faustão Abraão scored to the left of an out of position Iacob Povară, making the score, 2-0. Iacob Povară made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zhou in the 33rd minute of play. Panait Frânculescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Pancu in the 34th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's goalkeeper Iacob Povară had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Faustão Abraão. Iulian Nicorici blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Panait Frânculescu having to make a save.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Faustão Abraão to strike the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Panait Frânculescu threw himself towards the right post 51 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gheorghe Bociort, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Iosif Găman came free with the goalkeeper in the 52nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Panait Frânculescu could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gheorghe Bociort in the 53rd minute of play forced Alexandria Team08's goalkeeper Panait Frânculescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alexandria Team08 made a substitution. Maxim Constantinescu replaced Cosmin Apostu. Dan Petrescu kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Zhou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iacob Povară having to interfere. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA made a substitution. Francisc Ciocoiu really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. 80 minutes into the match, Alexandria Team08's goalkeeper Panait Frânculescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iulian Nicorici. 84 minutes had been played when some careless play by F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Radu Barna was slow to take the kick. During this time Alexandria Team08's players had a chance to rest. Péter Bánhegyi was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The audience was convinced that Zhou's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iacob Povară was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Panait Frânculescu made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Sorin Cupșa sent off a good shot on target. Alexandria Team08 were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of F.C CLUJ MEDICINA for a fine match.
