Florin Stancu might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aristide Mârzac. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Florin Stancu ran back to his position shaking his head. FC Berea's Aristide Mârzac played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florin Stancu in the 40th minute of play. Emilian Văduvescu charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emilian Văduvescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, FC Berea's Emilian Văduvescu got a free kick in the 44th minute. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alex Isaia to make the kick off. It was a well-played corner which Nae Strungă managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 57 minutes into the match, Muget's Florin Stancu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aristide Mârzac narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
