A collision led to F.C. Viitorul Șieu getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Valeriu Gâdea hit a great ball. In the 3rd minute of the match Marcin Pachucki sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gelu Iordache skillfully saved the ball. James Batistuta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by James Batistuta in the 7th minute of play forced F.C. Viitorul Șieu's goalkeeper Gelu Iordache to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When A4p FC Gad's James Batistuta in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye F.C. Viitorul Șieu's goalie prevented a goal. Gelu Iordache showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from King Scorpio in the 10th minute of the match. If King Scorpio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14thth minute of the game James Batistuta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but F.C. Viitorul Șieu's Gelu Iordache was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When A4p FC Gad's James Batistuta in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye F.C. Viitorul Șieu's goalie prevented a goal. After 16th play minutes James Batistuta shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Gelu Iordache and just under the crossbar into goal. Șerban Macovescu kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 20th minute of the match Marcin Pachucki shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gelu Iordache showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers James Batistuta in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gelu Iordache saved F.C. Viitorul Șieu from getting behind. F.C. Viitorul Șieu's Gelu Iordache played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dumitru Purcărete in the 23rd minute of play. Gelu Iordache took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from James Batistuta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute, Edgar Arnăutu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute, King Scorpio made a precise shot to the right of Gelu Iordache. F.C. Viitorul Șieu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. In the 34th minute, Flavius Cândroveanu made a precise shot to the right of Gelu Iordache. F.C. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, James Batistuta put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of Gelu Iordache. Viitorul Șieu's Gelu Iordache played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by James Batistuta in the 43rd minute of play. Gelu Iordache made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from James Batistuta in the 44th minute of play. James Batistuta scored 0-7 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gelu Iordache, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell James Batistuta to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, James Batistuta fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by James Batistuta in the 54th minute of play forced F.C. Viitorul Șieu's goalkeeper Gelu Iordache to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. James Batistuta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Gelu Iordache made a huge save. Gelu Iordache stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of James Batistuta's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. F.C. Viitorul Șieu's Gelu Iordache played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dumitru Purcărete in the 60th minute of play. The audience was convinced that James Batistuta's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gelu Iordache was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. A4p FC Gad made a substitution. Alessandro Del Piero replaced Flavius Cândroveanu. James Batistuta had several of the F.C. Viitorul Șieu's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 68 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-9 score and a disappointed Gelu Iordache as he didn't even see the shot coming. A4p FC Gad's Gică Busuioc was substituted for James Batistuta. Alessandro Del Piero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Gelu Iordache tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Gică Busuioc got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edgar Arnăutu charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edgar Arnăutu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, F.C. Viitorul Șieu's Edgar Arnăutu got a free kick in the 81st minute. 81 minutes into the game, Alessandro Del Piero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-11. Gelu Iordache was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A well placed Gică Busuioc short distance shot in the 84th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. 88 minutes into the match, Cătălin Răduleț dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gelu Iordache, 0-13. After 96 minutes, Gică Busuioc made it 0-15 with a short kick to the right side. F.C. Viitorul Șieu's Gelu Iordache tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Aron Voineag fell near the penalty area in the 99th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored F.C. Viitorul Șieu's protests and gave Aron Voineag a yellow card for diving instead. Gică Busuioc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 100th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gelu Iordache having to interfere. A4p FC Gad played a much better game than F.C. Viitorul Șieu and deserved their victory. The F.C. Viitorul Șieu players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
