The referee ignored Club Vertigo's protests and gave Ysmael Celerain a yellow card for diving instead. Ysmael Celerain hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. In the 6th minute, Dennis Berardinelli left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Otelul Darmanesti fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Ovidiu Caranfil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Milosz Gabis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 1-1 became the score in the 12th minute when Vasile Iurea elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Stelian Murgu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Nae Pavel made a huge save. The supporters of Club Vertigo booed when Otelul Darmanesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manole Brănescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stelian Murgu in the 17thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nae Pavel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Otelul Darmanesti's Nae Pavel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Well-Well Benne in the 19th minute of play. Club Vertigo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Emilian Moți in the 20th minute. The corner ended in Stelian Murgu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Otelul Darmanesti's Nae Pavel did a great save. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Vladimir Lenins short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got Ovidiu Caranfil to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vladimir Lenin in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ovidiu Caranfil saved Club Vertigo from getting behind. Ovidiu Caranfil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimir Lenin, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Nae Pavel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 94 minutes into the game, Vladimir Lenin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Otelul Darmanesti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Vertigo the free kick. After a rather tough play, Otelul Darmanesti's Vladimir Lenin got a free kick in the 94th minute. Otelul Darmanesti's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
