When Dinu Pelin fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ARCADA FC's protests and gave Dinu Pelin a yellow card for diving instead. Dumitru Berca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manole Ioviță, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastian Ţugui could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Edgar Vlădean made a huge save. ARCADA FC's Edgar Vlădean proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save ARCADA FC from getting a goal against them. Edgar Vlădean showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dobri Karapetrov in the 31st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stelian Hidiș in the 33rd minute of play forced VIP's goalkeeper Dumitru Berca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the match, VIP's goal looked a bit too open when Stelian Hidiș came free, but Dumitru Berca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dumitru Berca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurel Vuşcan in the 41st minute of play. Liu Sang Chao hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. In the 49th minute of the match Marian Florean sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dumitru Berca skillfully saved the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Dobri Karapetrov made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, ARCADA FC's Manole Ioviță nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dumitru Berca made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Sebastian Ţugui's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edgar Vlădean read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. After a rather tough play, VIP's Raphael Abraão got a free kick in the 59th minute. Stelian Hidiș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgar Vlădean didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sebastian Ţugui went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. ARCADA FC made a substitution. Daniel Stoicea replaced Dinu Pelin. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dobri Karapetrov in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edgar Vlădean prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 69th minute, Ştefan Coșereanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stelian Hidiș came free with the goalkeeper in the 70th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dumitru Berca could save by the left post. 72 minutes into the match, ARCADA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Ţugui came free, but Edgar Vlădean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Stoicea had several of the VIP's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 77 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Dumitru Berca as he didn't even see the shot coming. 82 minutes into the match, ARCADA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ştefan Coșereanu came free, but Edgar Vlădean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 85 minutes ARCADA FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dan Barbonța who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Dan Barbonța almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ARCADA FC's Edgar Vlădean did a great save. Stelian Hidiș's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dumitru Berca firmly grabbed it by the left post. Lia Miner's late challenge caught a VIP's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lia Miner helped the player get up and apologised. Lia Miner hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dan Barbonța in the 95th minute of play forced ARCADA FC's goalkeeper Edgar Vlădean to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle sounded ARCADA FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than VIP.
