Färid Mondragón made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Popcorn Miner in the 31st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Augustin Şumălan during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Armada getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Helmuth Miner was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. CS Minerul 03 CAVNIC ⚒ MM's Dudu Miner managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by He Wei Feng in the 47 minute of the game. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Liviu Buceceanu to strike the kick off in the second half.
