SCs StarS's supporters rose to their feet, but Wlodzimierz Kochanowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luca Jivulescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 7th minute, Mugur Chiriac made a precise shot to the right of Petr Čech. SCs StarS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 11th match minute, SCs StarS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sander Daniel to maneuver through the defense. Alin Brumaru's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Petr Čech read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. 16 minutes into the game, Ares FC -MM-'s Mugur Chiriac nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Petr Čech made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Luca Jivulescu didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 28th minute, which inside left pole to 3-2. Luca Jivulescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thiago Gol in the 41st minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, SCs StarS's goal looked a bit too open when Mugur Chiriac came free, but Petr Čech reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

SCs StarS's Robert de Graaf was substituted for Sander Daniel. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Thiago Gol was the one to do the kick off. Thiago Gol blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luca Jivulescu having to make a save. Ares FC -MM-'s Luca Jivulescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jordy Dirks in the 95th minute of play. SCs StarS walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
