Dinu Oardă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Traian Brăiloiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind F.C. YKE's goalkeeper Felix Leahu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 6 played minutes MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV got a freekick which was hit by Mădălin Bărbuceanu. In the 8th minute Mugur Ceaușescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dinu Oardă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the game, Yao Xing Chao threw the ball into play from the sideline. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Edwin 雷岩 quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Mădălin Bărbuceanu's late challenge caught a F.C. YKE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mădălin Bărbuceanu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 14th match minute, MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mădălin Bărbuceanu to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Mădălin Bărbuceanu hit a great ball. If Liviu Frumușanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Traian Brăiloiu could shoot a difficult shot in the 33rd minute, which Dinu Oardă however easily saved by the left post. Liviu Frumușanu scored 0-1 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Felix Leahu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

F.C. YKE made a substitution. Zygmunt Zachemski replaced Mugur Ceaușescu. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Silviu Dumitrana to strike the kick off in the second half. Dinu Oardă stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silviu Dumitrana's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Dinu Oardă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silviu Dumitrana in the 59th minute of play. Silviu Dumitrana might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dinu Oardă. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Silviu Dumitrana ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Silviu Dumitrana's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dinu Oardă was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. A sloppy throw-in by Mihăiţă Moisil in the 73rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by F.C. YKE's Michael Jordan. The throw-in from Michael Jordan in the 79th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Mihăiţă Moisil. F.C. YKE's attentive Michael Jordan managed to snatch the ball when Mihăiţă Moisil made a throw-in in the 80th minute of the game. Liviu Frumușanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Felix Leahu made a huge save. F.C. YKE's Traian Brăiloiu quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Mihăiţă Moisil, made in the 84th minute of the game. Felix Leahu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edwin 雷岩, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. F.C. YKE's Michael Jordan quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Mihăiţă Moisil, made in the 94th minute of the game. Michael Jordan made in the 95th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Mihăiţă Moisil. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
