Felix Găvan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. After having played for 15 minutes, Frederik Dhondt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Minerul Baita -MM-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Frederik Dhondt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 16th minute, Maxim Lupoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vadim Tudor struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Felix Găvan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Minerul Baita -MM-. In the 19th minute, Allan Shearer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Felix Găvan was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Allan Shearer in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Felix Găvan saved Santul FC from getting behind. A collision led to Minerul Baita -MM- getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Vadim Tudor hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the match, Santul FC's goalkeeper Felix Găvan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frederik Dhondt. Felix Găvan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ciprian Alexe's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Frederik Dhondt received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Felix Găvan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niculae Şantău in the 44th minute of play forced Santul FC's goalkeeper Felix Găvan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ciprian Alexe took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Felix Găvan. Felix Găvan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 8-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Allan Shearer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute, Octav Albescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Felix Găvan was frozen by the shot and now it was 11-0. In the 61st minute Frederik Dhondt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Găvan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Minerul Baita -MM-'s Xalo Camara was substituted for Gordon Miner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciprian Alexe in the 76th minute of play forced Santul FC's goalkeeper Felix Găvan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But to his dismay, Frederik Dhondt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 15-0. After 90 minutes of play, Minerul Baita -MM-'s Frederik Dhondt made it 16-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Felix Găvan was left in no man's land by his defense there! 93 minutes into the game, Frederik Dhondt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 17-0. Felix Găvan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Minerul Baita -MM- walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
