Iulian Pietreanu scored 1-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emilian Pora, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Armata 2003 Cluj-Napoca's Emilian Pora played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orçun Yalınalp in the 22nd minute of play. Orçun Yalınalp scored 2-0 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emilian Pora, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gong Jun Feng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergiu Corcoveanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Iulian Pietreanu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Emilian Pora didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC UNIREA Alba Iulia. Emilian Pora came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Iulian Pietreanu. But to his dismay, Iulian Pietreanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iulian Pietreanu made a kick off. 54 minutes into the game, FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Iulian Pietreanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emilian Pora made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. In the 57th minute of the match Nicolae Ungureanu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emilian Pora skillfully saved the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Wilson Arósio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emilian Pora. Armata 2003 Cluj-Napoca's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wilson Arósio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. In the 62nd match minute, Armata 2003 Cluj-Napoca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marian Covrig to maneuver through the defense. Emilian Pora didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Iulian Pietreanu went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Iulian Pietreanu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emilian Pora was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. The FC UNIREA Alba Iulia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 14-0.
