Marius Macovei ran back to his position shaking his head. Gong Jun Feng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marius Macovei in the 7th minute of play. Gigel Zăvoiu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wilson Arósio in the 9th minute. Gong Jun Feng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marius Macovei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the match, MasterBets's goal looked a bit too open when Iulian Pietreanu came free, but Gigel Zăvoiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 25 minutes, Marius Macovei made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Gong Jun Feng tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iulian Pietreanu in the 28th minute of play forced MasterBets's goalkeeper Gigel Zăvoiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marius Macovei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Gong Jun Feng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38thth minute of the game Marius Macovei who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Gong Jun Feng was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 39th minute, Marius Macovei ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gong Jun Feng was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After some careless play in the FC UNIREA Alba Iulia defense, Marius Macovei kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gong Jun Feng. The FC UNIREA Alba Iulia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gong Jun Feng should have stopped the shot. Marius Macovei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Zenon Galagan in the 70th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by MasterBets's Dorel Isăcescu. Marius Macovei's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gong Jun Feng read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. The supporters of MasterBets booed when FC UNIREA Alba Iulia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iulian Pietreanu didn't get a good kick on the ball.
