That made the score 1-0 in the 2 minute of play. Basarab Panduru took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Codruț Gogu. Codruț Gogu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Valer Perișoară received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Codruț Gogu came out and tried to block the shot, but Valer Perișoară slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 12th minute. Basarab Panduru struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Codruț Gogu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt. Basarab Panduru took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Codruț Gogu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horia Chioreanu in the 24th minute of play forced Juventus Țiu's goalkeeper Codruț Gogu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt booed when Juventus Țiu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octavian Zbârlea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Codruț Gogu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Călin Boieraș, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Codruț Gogu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Through an outstanding action, after 44 minutes, Codruț Gogu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 47th minute Valer Perișoară shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Codruț Gogu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Codruț Gogu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basarab Panduru, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 79th minute, Eric Gorcea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 11-0. Codruț Gogu came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's Eric Gorcea. But to his dismay, Eric Gorcea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 12-0. Costin Malcoci scored 13-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Codruț Gogu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Codruț Gogu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eric Gorcea in the 90th minute of play. 91 minutes into the game, Ionel Scripcaru was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Juventus Țiu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt the free kick. A collision led to Juventus Țiu getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Ionel Scripcaru hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Juventus Țiu's zone, Costin Malcoci stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Codruț Gogu came out of the goal and Costin Malcoci tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Codruț Gogu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costin Malcoci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
