When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Horia Chioreanu took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Damian Macovei to make any attempt to save it. Nuno Peralta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Călin Itoafă, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cosmin Iancu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. Damian Macovei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Călin Boieraș in the 94th minute of play. Cosmin Iancu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Nuno Peralta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
