With a little luck, Ninjas in Pyjamas's Cai Yue Guang got control of the ball when Iurie Ilie tried to sneak it across the goal line. Robert Tarcu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eric Păvăloae in the 17th minute of the match. Ninjas in Pyjamas's Mihnea Iosub quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Milan Skriniar, made in the 18th minute of the game. 23 minutes into the match, Ninjas in Pyjamas's goal looked a bit too open when Jaspar De Weijgaert came free, but Cai Yue Guang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iurie Ilie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Cai Yue Guang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, THE CRYSTAL SHIP's goal looked a bit too open when Mihnea Iosub came free, but Robert Tarcu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 32 played minutes Ninjas in Pyjamas got a freekick which was hit by Alexandru Negreanu. In the 33rd minute of the match Iurie Ilie shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cai Yue Guang showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. THE CRYSTAL SHIP's Robert Tarcu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eric Păvăloae in the 35th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Eric Păvăloae's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Robert Tarcu was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Cai Yue Guang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaspar De Weijgaert in the 38th minute of the match. In the 39th minute Eric Păvăloae shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Tarcu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robert Tarcu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mihnea Iosub, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. 48 minutes into the match, THE CRYSTAL SHIP's goal looked a bit too open when Eric Păvăloae came free, but Robert Tarcu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eric Păvăloae stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eric Păvăloae couldn't finish the play. In the 91st minute Iurie Ilie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cai Yue Guang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Borys Dudek in the 92nd minute of play forced Ninjas in Pyjamas's goalkeeper Cai Yue Guang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ninjas in Pyjamas's zone, Jaspar De Weijgaert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cai Yue Guang came out of the goal and Jaspar De Weijgaert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
