When Eric Păvăloae came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Ninjas in Pyjamas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eric Păvăloae couldn't finish the play. Fălciu's Filip Ivănescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eric Păvăloae in the 65th minute of play. Ninjas in Pyjamas's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rareș Tatulici in the 66th minute. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Mihnea Iosub got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marian Pascaru got free with Cai Yue Guang in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ninjas in Pyjamas's Anton Cucerdean was substituted for Andrei Cosor. The Ninjas in Pyjamas fans cheered their team off the field, for while Fălciu had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
